"Love is a learning, a journey, never end"
"Love is letting go and letting on"
"It's in the fear of losing that love is born"
"If you fear of losing, grip on to now and hold on tight"
"Love comes but once, it's fleeting, tempting, and yet doubting. Hold on to it cause it won't easily come by again"

Why do I feel that verses 2 and 3 somewhat oppose verse 1?
When it is said that love lets go and lets on, then why is love born out of fear of losing? Does not fear of losing makes one grip and hold on even tighter, like mentioned in verse 3? Then where will the let-go and let-on be found?
Perhaps in gripping it tight and realizing that it's in there and the trust that it's there, will lead to the letting go and letting on :)
